Storyline:  Just before World War II erupts, crime reporter Johnny Jones is sent to Europe to investigate Dutch diplomat Van Meer, a key figure in peace negotiations. Jones becomes enamored with Carol Fisher, daughter of a peace movement leader. When Van Meer is assassinated, Jones uncovers a conspiracy involving Nazi spies. As war looms, he risks everything to expose the truth, protect Carol, and report the story to the world.
