The plot revolves around Prohibition, and Stan and Ollie sneak out to a fancy club to get drunk. Only later do they realize it wasn't real alcohol.

Stan's wife is a very mean woman, bordering on psychopathic. Stan is clearly afraid of her. In the end, she buys a shotgun and tries to shoot Stan and Ollie.
