Storyline:  In a bid to escape familial pressures, a young couple elopes and finds refuge in a shabby hotel near a train station, penniless and contemplating suicide. When a passing train's gust of wind knocks over their glass of poison, they have a realization that life still holds promise. Stumbling upon a wallet full of cash, they flee to San Remo, where fortune leads them to a casino. Initially lucky, the couple soon finds their love tested.
