Storyline:  In 1929 London, a young woman finds herself in a nightmarish situation after a failed date turns violent. In self-defense, she kills her attacker and tries to erase all traces of her presence. Unbeknownst to her, a desperate witness has discovered her secret and begins blackmailing her. As the tension mounts, her boyfriend, a Scotland Yard detective, becomes entangled in the case while protecting the woman he loves.
