Storyline:  Jimmie Shannon, a struggling junior partner at a brokerage firm, learns of a surprising stipulation in his grandfather's will: he must marry by 7 PM on his 27th birthday, which is today, to inherit seven million dollars. Rushing to propose to his sweetheart Mary Jones, he fumbles the explanation, leading to a breakup. Desperate to save his firm from ruin, Jimmie plans to propose to seven women he knows.
