Storyline:  Lightnin’ Bill Jones, a charming war veteran with a fondness for liquor and his dog, co-owns a hotel with his wife, Mary. The hotel, located on a state border, attracts shady interests, including swindlers eager to claim the valuable property. When Bill refuses to sell, the schemers manipulate Mary into divorcing him so they can gain control. Misunderstanding Bill’s intentions, she takes him to court, and a judicial battle ensues.
