Storyline:  A young man leaves his small hometown for New York but quickly abandons the city’s chaos. After falling from a train near a ranch, he becomes an unlikely but capable cowboy. When the ranch faces bankruptcy, he leads a risky cattle drive to Los Angeles against a rival landowner’s wishes. Following a violent clash, he ends up alone on a train bound for Los Angeles with a thousand cows.
