Storyline:  Lieutenant Alexis is reassigned to the remote Tossenstein Fortress as punishment, but on his journey he becomes involved with Rikscha, the daughter of a robber chief. At the fort, he is ordered to lead an operation against the bandits, only to be offered the commander’s daughter, Lilli, as a reward. His divided loyalties set off a chain of complications.
