There are fights and murders, some showing of 'blood', and weapons can be seen clearly when wielded. One of the main characters carries a weapon and shows it quite frequently.

Within the dancehall setting and in the scenes where there is violence and/or the main antagonists are present, there is evidence of profanity being used and of the more "standard" english variety. The word "fuck" is used, as well as the word "shit", and the protagonist is referred to as "bitch".
