Enemy of the State (1998)

A lawyer becomes the target of a corrupt politician and his NSA goons when he accidentally receives key evidence to a political murder. Forced to go on the run, he enlists the help of a former intelligence operative. Together, they expose government surveillance and fight to clear his name. A cat-and-mouse chase ensues, full of unexpected turns. Highly recommend for a gripping and thought-provoking experience. With a stellar cast featuring Will Smith and Gene Hackman, it's a cinematic gem.
