Storyline:  In 1971, a group of recruits will undergo their last infantry training in a simulated combat zone known as Tigerland, the last stop before Vietnam for tens of thousands of young men. Jim Paxton, a future writer, observes Roland Bozz, an undisciplined soldier who defies the authorities and helps his fellow soldiers with leadership. Tensions and survival instincts soon rise in the Louisiana swamps.
