Strange Days (1995)

In 1999 Los Angeles, ex-cop Lenny Nero deals in illegal SQUID recordings—digital experiences of others' memories. When he's sent a disc showing a prostitute’s murder, he and bodyguard Mace uncover a conspiracy involving police brutality, a murdered activist rapper, and Lenny’s ex, now controlled by a ruthless manager.
