Storyline:  On 1920s Broadway, playwright David Shayne fights to stage his new work without compromising his artistic vision. When mobster Nick Valenti funds the play in exchange for casting his talentless girlfriend, chaos ensues: a diva lead, eccentric actors, and Olive’s bodyguard Cheech complicate rehearsals.
