Storyline:  Young lion prince Simba, heir to the Pride Lands, is cast out by his uncle Scar, who murders Simba’s father, Mufasa, to seize the throne. Overcome with guilt, Simba flees and adopts a carefree life with outcasts Timon and Pumbaa. Years later, urged by his childhood friend Nala and guided by Mufasa's spirit, Simba must confront his past, reclaim his destiny, and save the Pride Lands from Scar’s tyrannical rule.
