Storyline:  Gilles and Christine, young outsiders from Paris’s outskirts, live aimless lives with distant families. After Christine is caught stealing and sent to a nursing home, she escapes to join Gilles and some youths. Together, they head south, seeking an artist commune, sleeping rough along the way.
