Mild

Frightening & Intense Scenes
Mild
The domestic violence scene can be potentially upsetting but Mel Gibson's character does fight off Jamie Lee Curtis' attacker and he doesn't do anything to her as a result. It's a slightly intense scene but Gibson steps in before anything truly terrible happens. Some parents may not like the fighting between Gibson and Curtis' boyfriend who attempts to attack her, but the scene is portrayed in a positive light and is basically saying that domestic violence is bad.
