Plot Summary

In this macabre tale, we witness the duel between actress Madeline Ashton and writer Helen Sharp. When Madeline marries Helen's ex-fiancé, plastic surgeon Ernest Menville, Helen falls into depression, but finds an unprecedented way out. Eventually, Madeline also comes up with that shortcut: a mysterious potion that grants eternal youth and beauty, but the small print comes at a high price. The film, with an excellent comic trio (Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn and Bruce Willis) will fascinate you if you love dark comedies.
