Storyline:  In 1931 Spain, a young soldier deserts the army and takes refuge on a rural farm. Welcomed by Manolo, the landowner, who shares his political views, Fernando meets his four daughters. Each of them is drawn to him, and he to them. As the days pass, Fernando must navigate affection, freedom, and choice to decide whom he truly loves.
