Scent of a Woman (1992)

Plot Summary

Charlie Simms is a student from an elite high school who wants to earn extra money during Thanksgiving weekend. His job is to escort a blind man, retired lieutenant colonel Frank Slade, a strong-willed, overbearing and depressive man. Although the contrast between the introverted Charlie and the sarcastic Frank is evident, an unexpected friendship begins to emerge. Al Pacino won the Oscar for his unforgettable performance in a film where emotions run high.
