There is a very passionate and famous scene where Molly is molding a clay pot, Sam tries to touch her, ruining the pottery. He helps Molly reshape the clay and they turn it into a phallus like shape. They passionately kiss and both caress each other, while undressing and have sex. The camera cuts as he gets on top of her.

Willy is something of a womanizer but nothing is shown.

A man takes his shirt off while trying to seduce a woman.

There is a very bloody death where a man is impaled by a large pane of glass that pierces his stomach and kills him. This is very graphic and shocking. The big fight scene that happens before this is also very intense.

A man is shot to death during a fight with a man who attempted to rob him. Lots of blood is shown splattered all over his dead body and on his girlfriend's clothes. She holds his body and cries.

A man is violently killed after being hit by two cars. He is crushed in between a van and a car sending his body flying over the hood and onto the pavement. Blood is shown all over his face.

Oda Mae is briefly possessed by a ghost, and is later visited by Willie, who he tries to shoot. No one is hurt.

This movie is very emotional especially towards the end and may make some viewers cry. Most of the movie is serious and emotional, there are many comedic and lighthearted scenes to ease the tension at times.

In the opening credits, when the film's title flashes and the music instantly plays one note is a jump-scare.

The theme is about the ghost of a lover staying to warn his lover about two men trying to kill her in order to cover up a murder.
