In England, Haakon and Jens are approached by two women who are implied to prostitutes. Jens turns them down by saying he has his "little brother" (Haakon) with him. One of the women suggestively says the Haakon can "do with a little learning" and kisses him on the cheek. As they walk away, Jens tells Haakon to mind his valuables, likely referring to his privates.

The opening scene shows a pirate named Merrick who ambushes a ship captain in the alley and shoots him dead off screen.

Merrick murders the ships captain by putting poison in his rum bottle which makes him sick and kills him.

Haakon Haakonsen is about to get his back whipped by Merrick when a hurricane storm comes up.

The pirates are seen shooting guns at Haakon Haakonsen and his friends.
