Storyline:  Following his death in an automobile accident, Daniel Miller arrives in Judgment City, a transitional realm for the recently deceased. Residents undergo judicial-style evaluations determining whether they successfully confronted their fears during life. Daniel encounters Julia at a comedy venue and develops romantic feelings. Julia appears qualified to advance to subsequent existence phases, while Daniel fears returning to Earth would separate him from her permanently, motivating his efforts to demonstrate personal growth and overcome his existential anxieties.
