Storyline:  Set in Chicago during Prohibition, the story revolves around Eliot Ness, a federal agent who relentlessly pursues gangster Al Capone, the absolute leader of organised crime. Assembling a group of incorruptible cops including veteran Jim Malone, the lack of evidence leads Ness to seek to expose Capone for other crimes. Directed by Brian De Palma, the film has a captivating pace, excellent performances (Sean Connery received an Oscar), a score composed by Ennio Morricone and a memorable ending.
