Storyline:  In Trieste, 1957, Mimma enters Madame Colette’s brothel to earn money so her boyfriend can finance and launch his own business, adopting the name Paprika. Though drawn to her first client, Franco, she keeps working as the ban on brothels nears, moving through major Italian houses and confronting desire, exploitation, and the realities of the trade.
