Storyline:  Kiki, a 13-year-old witch-in-training, must live alone for a year to become a full-fledged witch. Settling in the coastal town of Koriko, where a kind baker named Osono offers her shelter in exchange for delivery work, Kiki sets up her own broomstick courier service and begins a quest to find her place in the world.
