A soldier is instructed to test fire a cannon. He puts in too much powder, causing an explosion that presumably kills him (offscreen). This leads to chaos for a few moments among the other soldiers. One of them even fires into the sky, causing some birds to drop dead.
Brief war violence, some of it graphic. Blood is frequently shown onscreen. Characters are shot with bullets or arrows and some die in explosions.
A pilot is shot in the head with an arrow. There's a close-up shot of his face as the blood from the wound begins to drip across it.
