Storyline:  Accompanied by Eugenia, his translator, poet Andrei Gorchakov travels through Italy researching the life of an 18th-century Russian composer. In one town, he meets Domenico, a man disturbed by an extreme act of isolation. Fascinated by him and his ideas, Gorchakov faces a growing sense of nostalgia.
