Martial arts violence pervades this film about a bruised and bullied teen who learns karate for self-defense.

Altercations include hand-to-hand combat, kicks and punches; along with at verbal taunting, the bullying of the Cobra Kai at one point turns into gang-assault when Daniel is outnumbered and beaten into unconsciousness.

Daniel would sometimes catch the bullies off-guard and attack them in school as retaliation.
