Storyline: After Spock’s sacrifice, Admiral Kirk and the Enterprise crew return to Earth for repairs, only to learn their ship will be decommissioned. When Dr. McCoy behaves oddly and Scotty is reassigned, Kirk decides to steal the Enterprise and head to the Genesis Planet to rescue Spock. Unaware of looming danger, they face the Klingons, who seek the Genesis Device for destructive ends.
