Storyline:  Based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King, this haunting story directed by the legendary John Carpenter centers on Arnie Cunningham, a socially awkward teenager who becomes obsessed with a Plymouth Fury nicknamed Christine. As the young man restores the car to its former glory, he experiences a radical change that causes him to succumb to a sinister influence: it is a possessed vehicle. A psychological horror film with supernatural elements, very good special effects and a great setting.
