Storyline:  In the midst of previews for a Broadway-bound play, troubled actress Myrtle Gordon grapples with personal demons triggered by a fan's tragic death outside the theater. Haunted by guilt and visions of the deceased girl, Myrtle's erratic behavior disrupts rehearsals and strains relationships with her colleagues. As opening night looms, Myrtle's battle with aging and her own psyche threatens to unravel everything she's worked for.
