Storyline:  Navin Johnson, raised in Mississippi by an adoptive family, leaves home at 18 convinced he must find his place in the world. Arriving in St. Louis, his innocence makes him an easy target for exploitation, until an accidental invention suddenly turns him into a wealthy man, with consequences he barely understands.
