Storyline:  Based on the novel Time After Time by Karl Alexander, this science fiction film follows the famous writer H.G. Wells, who, in 1893, succeeds in building a time machine. After several years of inactivity, the notorious murderer Jack the Ripper uses the machine to escape from the police and travels to 1979 San Francisco, where Wells pursues him. While trying to stop him, accompanied by a young woman named Amy, he discovers that the future is very different from what he had imagined.
