Storyline:  In the 1950s, cashier Howard Prince agrees to put his name on scripts written by blacklisted friends, initially to help with debts. As he becomes the front for more writers, he remains politically naïve, but his bond with Florence and a blacklisted actor forces him to confront the injustice of the blacklist and question the system he once ignored.
