Eraserhead (1977)

Inaugural film of David Lynch's oneiric and symbolic universe. It portrays the story of Henry Spencer, a young man who becomes involved in a surreal nightmare when he learns that he has fathered a monstrous creature who is forced to raise with his ex-partner. Lynch masterfully orchestrates the resources at his disposal to build a stormy scenario as a representation of his perspective of the American unconscious, thus obtaining the second place in the list of the 100 best film debuts.
