Storyline:  Bruno, a struggling ex-con street musician, befriends Eva, a prostitute. Fleeing her abusive pimps, they move to Wisconsin with eccentric neighbor Scheitz. There, Bruno finds work, Eva waitresses, and they buy a trailer. But debt, tension, and disillusionment crush their hopes for a new life.
