A man is being viciously assaulted (being slapped on the face, being punched in the belly) to unconsciousness by some soldiers. Later he is being carried out of the room by two soldiers. Blood can be seen on his face while he is still unconscious.

A man is being physically tortured. His arms are being tied to his above, with visible blood on his body.

A man is shot by a soldier. Another man is being hit on his head by a pistol.

Some casual swearing and cussing. For example, a man calls another man a swine (in the English subtitles).

Men are sitting at a table eating and chatting. It seems to be a social night, and of course, they smoke and drink.

Smoking and drinking in other scenes. The entire film doesn't involve drugs.

From a story they share during their conversation, we can hear that people, are being physically abused, tortured and mutilated by their Master and Lord. Horrendous to hear.

The story took place during World War Two. In one scene, the city was being air raided, so some buildings were blown up and collapsed, covered in fire.
