Storyline:  A down-on-his-luck gambler, Bill (George Segal), crosses paths with Charlie (Elliott Gould), a reckless free spirit. What begins as carefree fun quickly spirals into debt when Charlie drags Bill into his impulsive escapades, including a wild detour to Tijuana. Desperate, Bill pawns his belongings and heads to Reno for the poker game of a lifetime. Set against the neon glow of casinos and racetracks, the film follows the pair as they win big, lose hard, get robbed, and stumble through drunken nights, always chasing luck that seems just out of reach.
