Plot Summary

This film transposition of Agatha Christie's novel, directed by Sidney Lumet, is a delight, bringing together one of the most brilliant casts in Hollywood and British cinema, all aboard the luxurious Orient Express. Detective Hercule Poirot is wanted by a passenger who is soon murdered, the snow brings the train to a halt and Poirot takes the investigation forward before losing track of the suspects. Gradually, a web of secrets emerges and contradicts the testimonies of a diverse group of passengers, possibly linked to an old unsolved case. With an unsettling atmosphere, the whole mystery is sustained until the shocking final resolution.
