This film features a gratuitous 3-second sequence of unobstructed full frontal male nudity wherein the director makes a naked man's genitalia (penis and scrotum) the lingering focal point (in close-up) that intentionally draws the viewers' attention to it by painting the remainder of the man's body black. In stark contrast, a similar sequence features a naked woman being painted black but her breasts are largely obscured by an oversized magazine she holds at about chest height and pretends to read. Her pubis/vulva is also obscured by a kneeling man's head and shoulders as he proceeds to paint her body. A very early example showcasing the vast disparity in terms of male vs female nudity in film (The Hays Code that permitted no nudity had just been discarded by Valenti two years earlier).
