The Godfather (1972)

Plot Summary

This critical and public success portrays the life of the mobster Don Corleone. But it goes far beyond the crimes, machinations and violence. In addition to the power struggles with the 5 Mafia families of New York, we will witness the relationship of morality and power within the Corleone family, especially with their son Michael, a war veteran; all drawn by Coppola's meticulous directing, in the film that brought him fame.
