BANNED is the story of Amal Abadi and her race against time as the U.S. Travel Ban threatens to send her and her two-year-old son back to Syria before they can be reunited with her husband on the other side of the gate. With the help of a lawyer working pro-bono, a rebellious immigration officer, and the hundreds of protesters demanding their freedom, Amal will fight to get her family to safety here in the United States.
