The Incident: Playing the Hero

Sometimes, not doing anything is the best thing to do - "The Incident - Playing the Hero" tells the story of John McKenny and Pete Malkovich, both hard working police officers in their forties and the woman of John's dreams, Cindy Deveroux, a thirty-something psychologist. Cindy is intelligent, beautiful, successful and to John's frustration, fiercely independent. John barely survives an incident, that puts him in hospital on a long path to recovery. Fortunately, Cindy and Pete assist him in all the ways they can, but their friendship soon becomes a thorn in John's eye. Hampered by amnesia, feelings of guilt and physical impairment, John's fragile little world slowly fall apart. After his release from hospital, John starts to recall and puzzle together key events from the past year, bringing truths to light, that John was not prepared to see.
