Storyline:  This absorbing film directed by Steven Spielberg is based on true events about the cover-up of secrets by various US governments. The film focuses on the role of the press, The New York Times and its competitor, The Washington Post: its editor and publisher, Katharine Graham and Ben Bradlee, take the decision to support the Times against attempts to restrict free speech. An intense dramatic portrait, with strong performances by Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.
