Emissary

Six men from different walks of life take on the ultimate challenge as they embark on the journey to become United States Marines at the famous Parris Island Marine Corps Depot. At boot camp, the new recruits, with freshly shaved heads are stripped of their former identity by an intense Drill Instructor, who instills in them the capability to work as a unit. As they are taken through grueling boot camp training, the recruits slowly begin to bond with one another and develop a brotherhood that is known only to a Marine. After graduating and earning the honor of becoming a Marine, the six men are sent to a secluded outpost located deep in the Syrian mountains where they become part of a platoon of battle tested Marines that have been ordered to stop a ruthless Syrian leader and his rebel soldiers. Unknown to the others, two of the new Marines are Syrian spies, implanted long ago to destroy the Marine outpost from the inside. When one of the spies is given his orders by the sinister Syrian leader, he questions his assignment. He has second thoughts about destroying his new brothers, his fellow Marines, and questions whether he should follow through with the orders to take his revenge for a past childhood event. In an all out battle, the true character of the Marines is put to the test as they attempt to defeat the Syrian rebels and escape with their lives.
