Tales are more like fables, funny fantasies of the narrator. The off-screen text is masterfully read by the wonderful Soviet actor Evgeniy Leonov. The village stands on the river, where eternal ice floes. It is on them that the locals move around, as on a sleigh. Instead of triples, big fish are harnessed, and bears work as coachmen. Polar bears live among people. And they do not just live, but take an active part in the life of the people. For example, small cubs sell milk, while large cubs sell seeds and cigarettes.
