Storyline:  Michael and his family embark on a sailing adventure on the open sea. Excitement turns to fear when a violent storm blows Michael and his dog, Stella, overboard and they are forced to survive on a remote and wild island. While there, they meet Kensuke, a mysterious Japanese man who has lived on the island since World War II. Initially distrustful, they must put aside their differences when dangerous invaders threaten their fragile paradise.
