Storyline:  The film is based on the life of french writer Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, who after marrying a writer, Willy, begins to work on a series of very popular novels under her husband's name, with whom she has a tumultuous marriage that will lead her to embrace her true self. The film, fascinating for its exquisite costumes and its focus on sexuality and artistic liberation, stars period film enthusiast Keira Knightley, whose performance is brilliant.
