Storyline:  In 1967, a police raid on an unlicensed club in Detroit ignites a massive riot. The National Guard and Army are called in to restore order. Amidst the chaos, rioters seek refuge at the Algiers Motel, where they encounter other guests, but are quickly found by the police. Suspects are terrorized and subjected to mock executions. As tensions escalate, a deadly and racially charged confrontation unfolds within the motel walls.
