Blood and Country (2015)

Blood and Country. Short independent film (15min aprox.). Filmed in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico in 2014. Edited and presented to open public in 2015. Recorded in HD 2K with 5.1 Stereo Surround Sound. Speaks of two soldiers, Julian and Alfonso, who find each other during the Mexican Independence War (1811). Each soldier defends his perspective and ideals of the war, yet they have to decide what is more important, their friendship or their respective cause. Directed by Rodolfo Palacios (Apocalypto) and photographed by Jaime Munguia (Park Stories). Cast conformed by Adrian Rodriguez and Alan del Castillo. Presented in Short Film Festival 'Short Shorts', Mexico City 2015.
